Status:

1. The construction will take place at the current location of 420-450 Persian Dr, Sunnyvale California.

2. We have retained very capable and famous architect Shri Kartik Patel of Archevon.

3. The plans have been filed with the City of Sunnyvale on 17-Nov-2006 for their approval.

4. The construction is planned to start in Nov 2007.

5. The construction is planned to complete by December 2008.

6. The cost estimation is $5,000,000 (five million dollars). (20,000 sq ft @ $250 per sq ft.)

7. The provision for fund is:
    Cash-in-hand      0.86 million.
    Bank-Loan          2.00 million (approved).
    Fund-raising        2.14 million.

8. Requirements:
    A) There must be provision for full cost before work can commence.
    B) We have to raise the fund of 2.14 million dollar in addition to our current commitment for the on-going         expenses.
    C) We expect each bay-area family to come forward and make their contribution of $1,000 or more.

9. Updates:
    We will regularly send the status and progress of all the development by email. We will also post the     information on the temple web-site. A list of donors with donation of $1,000 or more will be published on     the web-site.

10. Fund-raiser
     We appeal all the devotees to come forward and make their contribution for the temple and for our      coming generations. The checks should be made payable to Sunnyvale Temple, construction Account.
